The Canadian Great War Society, Inc.
Preserving the Memory of Canada's role in the First World War Through Public
Education
The Canadian Great War Society is a not-for-profit
corporation incorporated under Canadian law.  The
goal of the society is to preserve the history of
Canada's role in the First World War through public
education activities.  These public education activities
are conducted through living history events, parades,
and public presentations throughout Central and
Southwestern Ontario.

The Society is very excited that in 2008 it received a
grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency
of the Government of Ontario which sponsors
community projects with the proceeds of licenced
casinos.  These funds have been used to purchase
complete uniforms and equipment for young people
interested in participating in the Society's public
activities and learning about life in the Canadian Army
in the First World War.

The Society is also very proud to be sponsored by the
Royal Canadian Regiment Museum, located at the
Regimental Headquarters of the Royal Canadian
Regiment at Wolseley Barracks, London, Ontario.
